About the Trainer
Hi, I'm Amanda Posen and I'm a certified professional dog trainer through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and have been professionally training dogs since 2010. My passion for dog training sparked when I was just 8 years old, volunteering as a guide dog puppy raiser with Guide Dogs of America. I graduated from Moorpark College's Exotic Animal Training and Management (EATM) program in 2010 and hold degrees in Exotic Animal Training and Management, Animal Behavior Management, and Wildlife Education.
Throughout my professional career, I haven't strictly worked as a private in-home dog trainer. I'm also a studio trainer and have instructed basic obedience and dog training classes based on the exacting requirements for various production needs. My other professional experience involves working at a horse rescue, training volunteers, underprivileged children, and those with special needs to care for the animals at the rescue.

I'm dedicated and passionate about helping pet-parents work towards and achieve their training goals with their dog. Knowing that dog training can't be approached as a one size fits all, I do my best to take the time to understand pet-parents training goals and needs with the utmost compassion and understanding.
I look forward to helping you and your family on your training journey!
